Moved to tears by the wails of the parents of Bappi and Ratna, two children brutally killed within a span of five days, opposition leader Sheikh Hasina urged people to stand united to end "misrule" as she said this government failed to provide public security. Demanding death sentence for the killers of minor boy Bappi and little girl Ratna, she alleged this government is encouraging the killers by not taking any action against them.
At Bappi's house at Becharam Deuri Lane in Armanitola area thousands of people thronged the roads, shops and rooftops chanting slogans for death sentence for the killers of the schoolboy.
