The Baoji Intermediate People's Court in Shaanxi Province, China, sentenced Zhao Shouyi and Wang Rangke to death; Chen Baoping to 15 years imprisonment; and Zhang Haixue to 10 years imprisonment for murder, the Xibu Fazhi Bao newspaper reported. "In 2003, Wang had a business conflict with Ma. Wang and his brother-in-law, Zhao, bought explosives and detonators from Zhang. On 21 September 2003, Zhao placed an explosive device under Ma's car. Zhao used a pager to ignite the remote-controlled explosive device. The device killed three and injured five pedestrians."
