The Delaware Supreme Court overturned the conviction and death sentence given Freddy Flonnory, 22, who was accused as a teen of murdering Angela Farmer, 17, and Danya Adams, 18, on July 14, 1997

The Delaware Supreme Court overturned the conviction and death sentence given Freddy Flonnory, 22, who was accused as a teen of murdering Angela Farmer, 17, and Danya Adams, 18, on July 14, 1997. The court ruled jurors were wrongly influenced by stories they heard from outside of court that Flonnory had a violent past. Flonnory will remain in prison. He is serving an 8 1/2-year sentence for convictions of assault in a fight with a prison guard.
