A court in Kenya sentenced two middle-aged men to death after they were found guilty of robbery with violence
A court in Kenya sentenced two middle-aged men to death after they were found guilty of robbery with violence.
John Kamau Njoroge and Zacharia Mugo Wanjohi were also condemned to five years in jail for illegal possession of firearms.
The two were found guilty of robbing, while armed with pistols, Naivasha municipality residents of vehicles, mobile phones and household goods and injuring their victims on two separate occasions.
Naivasha Senior Resident Magistrate Martin Muya said in his ruling that the prosecution led by Chief Inspector Nzomo had proved the case beyond reasonable doubt as complainants and witnesses had identified the accused persons.
