A Ministry of Public Security newspaper reported that the Ningbo Intermediate People's Court, in Zhejiang Province, sentenced Ren Yueming, manager of Yinxian County Sanyou Materials Trading Company, to death with two years reprieve and confiscation of all assets for issuance of false value-added specialized tax invoices. From 1999 to December 2000, Ren allegedly issued false invoices for a value of 31m yuan, evading 4.6m yuan in taxes, the paper said.
