Fifteen people who carried out a raft of crimes including murder, robbery, and theft of power cables over a 10-year period were sentenced to death. Between 1992 and 2001, the gang, led by Wang Jianhua, committed a number of violent robberies using home-made rifles, knives and clubs in Xinmi and Zhengzhou cities in Henan province, the China News Service said.
The 15 men were sentenced by the Intermediate People's Court in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan province.
