The Hainan Daily reported that the Hainan Provincial Higher People's Court executed Zheng Chuming and Lin Chunhui for issuance of false value added specialized tax invoices. It was alleged that from October 1997 to July 1998, Zheng and Lin set up four portfolio companies. They used these companies to issue 3,284 copies of false invoices to 1,000 enterprises and units in 26 provinces worth 105m yuan, evading 32.3m yuan in taxes.
