Three convicted Hong Kong drug traffickers weere executed in Shenzhen, China. State media reported they were put to death after the Guangdong provincial high court upheld their sentences for trafficking in illegal drugs.
They had been convicted of heading a gang of 14 drug traffickers intent on distributing and selling heroin and other drugs, including cocaine and ecstasy. The gang was also convicted of possessing firearms.
