Two drug traffickers from the same family were hanged in Kajang Prison

Two drug traffickers from the same family were hanged in Kajang Prison. A statement from the Prisons Department said that Ng Sin Huat, 49, was convicted of traffiking in 132.52gm of heroin while his nephew, Yap Bok Seng, 38, was convicted of trafficking in 123.61gm of the drug. Both offences were committed at the Subang International Airport on October 26, 1984. The Kuala Lumpur High Court passed the mandatory death sentence on them under section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 on January 6, 1988.
